How can I select the AEEE exam centre?

A candidate appearing for AEEE 2026 can submit three preferences of exam cities from the available list of cities. AEEE 2026 will be conducted in a centre in the cities given on the list, provided there are enough candidates. The preferences submitted by the candidate are only indicative and a guide to the University for deciding the number of centres in each city. A candidate will be allotted one out of the three preferred cities, preferably the first preferred city. If the exam cannot be conducted at the first preferred city of a candidate, for any reason whatsoever, they will be allotted to the second/third preference as applicable. The university will put all efforts into conducting AEEE 2026 in all the cities listed in the appendix. If any city in the list is cancelled due to very less registrations or for any other reason, the candidates who have opted for that city will be allotted to another city the nearest to their preference, and the same will be informed to the candidates by the registered email address.

What will happen if I do not books any slots for AEEE exam?

The candidates who do not book the slots are assigned slots as per the availability of the same automatically. Candidates then have to appear for the exam as per the assigned slots. Candidates must book their own lsots as the automatically assigned slots might not be as per their convenience. AEEE slot booking is done in first come first serve basis. When will the AEEE 2026 slot booking start for phase 1 exams?

AEEE 2026 phase 1 slot booking is now active at aeee.amrita.edu. AEEE slot booking window opens for a limited period and is done in real-time and on a first-come first-served basis. Via AEEE slot booking process, candidates can select the exam date and time, as per their availability. The booked slots are then made available via the AEEE admit card, according to which candidates have to visit the AEEE exam centre and appear for the AEEE CBT exam.

Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar. Candidates can check the campuses that offer BTech specialisation that they are interested in on the official website. Not all campuses will offer all the specialisations. AEEE 2026 Slot Booking: Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has started the AEEE phase 1 slot booking process. The slot booking link will be activated on the official website, aeee.amrita.edu.
