JEE Main 2018 online paper was held today, April 15 across 258 cities in India and abroad. The exam started sharp at 9:30 am. No entry was allowed after 9:30 am.
Students were not allowed to carry anything inside examination hall except JEE Main admit card. Those having proper medical advice were allowed water bottles. Metal detectors were used at the entry gate and no bags or wrist watches were allowed inside. No problems of power cuts or technical glitches were reported by test takers.
According to students, there were no changes in the pattern of Paper -1 of JEE Main compared to previous years. The paper had three sections - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 30 questions from each subject. The marking scheme was +4 marks for correct answer, – 1 for incorrect answer and zero if not attempted. All the 90 questions were of multiple choice with single correct answer objective type.

Students shared that the level of difficulty for each paper was as follows:
- Physics - Medium
- Chemistry - Medium (Mostly NCERT based)
- Mathematics - Easy
The paper overall was similar to the JEE Main offline exam held on April 8, 2018 i.e. between easy to moderate level. As compared to last year’s paper, this year the online paper was relatively of same level as per students. Students found the online exam paper convenient to attempt.

JEE Main 2018 official answer keys will be released on the official website from April 24 to 27. JEE Main 2018 results will be declared on April 30. The cut-off score for JEE Advanced 2018 will be out by the end of April. Check JEE Main 2018 important dates here!

COEP Pune CSE cutoff 2026 was 7558 for the General AI category students. Hence, students need a rank of at least 7558 or lower to be able to gain admission at COEP Tech Pune for its BTech course. Note that other categories will have different cutoffs.

Yes, JEE Main is compulsory to get admission in BTech at BIT Mesra. AAdmissions for regular seats are conducted through centralised counseling platforms governed by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board).
