JEE Main 24 January 2023 Answer Key by NTA will be uploaded a few days after the JEE Main Jan 2023 exam session is over. The official JEE Main 2023 answer key will be available for all days and shifts and candidates will be able to challenge them too. Q:   When will NTA release JEE Main Answer key 2024?
A:

JEE Main session 2 answer key 2024 by NTA will be released tentativey on April 13. JEE Main Answer Key 2024 session 1 was released on February 6. NTA first released the provisional JEE Main 2024 answer key which was also open for challenge. In case any candidate is not satisfied with the answers given in JEE Main 2024 provisional answer key session 1, he/she can submit the grievance online by login to the website. After reviewing the challenges, NTA released JEE Main final answer key.

Q:   How can I download my JEE Main response sheet?

JEE Main response sheets are released online by NTA along with the answer key. To download the JEE Main response sheets, candidates need to login on the JEE Main official website using their application number and date of birth/password. JEE Main response sheet will have the details of marked response by candidate during the exam. Candidates can use the response sheet along with answer key to calculate their marks in the exam.

How to calculate Scores using JEE Main 24 Jan 2023 Answer Key?

To calculate scores using the JEE main answer key, candidates can use the steps below:

  • Download the answer key of JEE Main 2023.
  • Now crosscheck the answers in the key with that of the responses submitted by you in the exam.
  • If the answer matches then add 4 marks. If not then deduct 1 mark.
  • Follow the process and calculate the total score.

Or simply put the number of correct answers and the number of incorrect answers in the formula below:

JEE Main 2023 raw score = 4 X number of correct answers - 1 X number of wrong answers

Note, that the scores that are fetched after using the answer key are the raw score. NTA will convert the raw score to percentile scores for the All India Rank, cutoff and final marks.

Candidates can check the official marking scheme according to the JEE Main 2023 exam pattern given below. Using the marking scheme and answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate their probable secured scores before the JEE Main 2023 result is announced.

JEE Main 2023 Answer Key Official

NTA will release the official JEE Main 2023 answer key. The JEE Main January 24 answer key along with all other days will be uploaded by NTA on the official website. The candidates will get a chance to challenge the jee main 2023 answer key. The challenges made by the candidates are reviewed by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, then the answer key will be updated accordingly. The result will be prepared and made public based on the updated final answer key. No candidate will be informed if his or her challenge was accepted or rejected. The answer key finalized by the experts is considered the final. 

Q:   What is the fee for objecting to the answer key of JEE Mains?
A:
The fees for raising objections in JEE Main answer key is INR 200 per question. Candidates need to pay the fees online using internet banking or credit/debit card. The actual fees to be paid for raising the objections will depend on the number for questions selected for grievance.
Q:   Can I raise objections in JEE Main final answer key?
A:
No, candidates cannot raise objections in the final answer key of JEE Mains. The facility to raise objections is provided only in the provisional answer key. NTA has clearly specified that candidates cannot raise objections in the JEE Main final answer key. The result of candidates is prepared on the basis of JEE Main final answer key.
Q:   What can I do if there are discrepancies in the final answer key of JEE Main?
A:
NTA prepares the JEE Main final answer key with the help of expert faculty members and subject matter experts. There is NO possibility of discrepancy in the final answer key of JEE Main. However, if any question is found incorrect or the options of any questions are found incorrect, students are awarded full marks for that questions irrespective of whether the candidate has appeared that question or not.

JEE Main 2023 Cutoff

JEE Main 2023 cutoff means the minimum marks candidates need to obtain to sit for JEE Advanced. NAT release this cutoff after the final session of JEE Main 2023 is over. The cutoff marks vary category-wise. The cutoff marks will be the minimum percentile marks needed. This year the top 2,50,000 candidates in JEE Main 2023, will be able to register for JEE Advanced.
