Yes, you can get admisson at NIT Mizoram with a rank of 50000 if you belong to the General AI category (but only to a few BTech specialisations). For the NIT Mizoram cutoff 2026, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 27320 to 51417. As per this range only one branch can be availed, ie., BTech in Civil Engineering, with the round 1 cutoff of 51417.

In the last round, the closing percentile among the General Home State category candidates varied between 95.51 and 99.85.
