Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering (AEEE) is the BTech entrance exam for admission to 20 unique BTech programs offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The entrance exam is held across India for admission to 8 Amrita campus at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil and Haridwar.

Amrita University conducted a common seat allocation process (CSAP) for candidates with AEEE 2026 ranks or JEE Mains 2026 percentile scores. Candidates are also notified via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp about the AEEE 2026 counselling updates. The counselling process included the following steps:

After the release of AEEE result 2026, candidates have to register for AEEE 2026 counselling. To register for AEEE counselling, candidates have to pay INR 5000.
Some important instructions:
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- The registration fee is refundable only if the candidate fails to get any Academic Preference, even in the last round of CSAP.
- Registration fees will not be refunded if a candidate withdraws from CSAP.
- Registration does not guarantee admission.
- Applicants are allowed to register for CSAP till the last allotment.
AEEE 2026 Result
The AEEE 2026 phase 2 result is out at the Amrita online admission portal for all test-takers. Candidates can access their rank by logging in with their registered mobile number and OTP.
- 70% of seats are filled through AEEE 2026.
- 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main 2026 All India Ranks.
The AEEE result is released separately for all phases. Candidates who appear for more than one phase must note that their best score out of all the phases is considered for admission.

The AEEE 2026 admit card is issued provisionally to eligible candidates who have successfully submitted their complete application forms. The admit card is an important document and must be kept safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

This year, a new section, "Quantitative Aptitude", has been introduced. Candidates can check the new AEEE 2026 exam pattern below:
- The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.
- All the questions are of a Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
- Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Answers marked can be changed later, before the final submission of all the answers.
- 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.

Candidates have to prepare using the AEEE syllabus for the exam, as the topics from which the questions in the AEEE CBT exam are asked are mentioned in the syllabus.
The AEEE exam is held twice a year. The Phase 1 exam is held in January, and the Phase 2 exam is held in April every year.
AEEE is of 2.5 hours duration. The exam is held in CBT mode, and the candidates can leave the exam hall when the complete duration is over. There is 1 paper in the exam having 4 sections: Maths, Chemistry, Physics and English. The exam medium is English only.
111 marks could get you CSE branch only if you have the state quota, because students who have the state quota could get CSE with mere 105+ marks. Whereas if you don't have the state quota or you belong to the open category then its not possible for you to get into CSE. You need to have 145+ marks if you do not have the state quota.
If at the time of filling AEEE form, candidates do not have JEE Main scores, they do not have to worry. Academic Profile, documents upload and JEE Mains scores may be entered after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application.
Slots once confirmed cannot be changed in AEEE. A slot once booked cannot be changed under any circumstances. Requests for change of test centres will also not be entertained. Therefore, candidates whould book their AEEE exam slots very carefully.
