Candidates should be Indian citizens and fulfil the domicile requirements of Assam.
Should not be above 21 years or below 17 years of age as of August 1 of the admission year. A relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit is provided to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
