AEEE Registration Dates 2026
Amrita BTech 2026 registration is open with JEE Main scores only. All eligible candidates can apply on the official website, aeee.amrita.edu. To register, candidates have to enter their name and contact details. The mobile numbers of the candidates are verified, and only after that can candidates complete the registration process. Candidates are advised to retain the registered mobile number and email address they submitted in the application form until all admission procedures are completed, as all important updates will be communicated to them via SMS/e-mail or both.

The AEEE 2026 phase 2 exam was held from April 24 to 30.
The AEEE 2026 application form for phase 1 and phase 2 is out. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form, and more than one application, i.e. multiple applications from a candidate, may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used. The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application, i.e. acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence.
AEEE 2026 Counselling Dates
Candidates with AEEE 2026 rank or JEE Mains 2026 Percentile Score or Rank have to register for CSAP 2026. AEEE 2026 Counselling is being held for all AEEE qualified candidates, in order to get admission to the BTech programme offered at 8 campuses (Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.
At Amrita University, admissions will be based on AEEE exam ranks, considering local (Kerala, Tamil Nadu) and non-local candidates. Locals have priority even with higher ranks. Non-locals should aim for a rank below 3000 due to high competition. For CSE in Coimbatore, aim for below 400; below 1000 for CSE in other branches.
The scores of AEEE 2026 exam will be valid for this academic session only (2026-27).

Amrita University conducts the AEEE exam for Amrita BTech admissions. The exam date is announced online, and candidates need to book their exam slots as per their availability to appear for the computer-based test.

AEEE CBT has one paper of 300 marks. 100 MCQs are asked in the exam from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Quantitative Aptitude. Each question carries 3 marks, and 1 mark is deducted against each wrong answer. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. All the questions are of a Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.

AEEE 2026 Slot Booking Dates Phase 2
The AEEE slot booking 2026 window opens for a limited period and is done in real-time and on a first-come come first-served basis. The candidates who do not book the slots are assigned the slots randomly as per availability. If a candidate does not exercise their option, they are assigned a date/ slot as per the availability of the same. To book the Exam Date and Slot, registered candidates need to click the AEEE slot booking link provided on the University webpage as per the schedule.
The booked slots are then made available via the AEEE admit card 2026, according to which candidates have to visit the AEEE exam centre and appear for the AEEE CBT exam. Candidates have to carry the downloaded and printed copy of the AEEE admit card to the allotted exam centre.

Yes, you can. Candidates registered for AEEE 2025 shall select “DATE AND TIME” of their choice, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY, by visiting the admission portal on or before the last date. This process is called “SLOT BOOKING.” Test Centre, Number of days and Number of operating slots in a day will be finalised based on the number of candidates for a particular city. The allotment of date / slot will be on first come first serve basis. If a candidate does not exercise their option, they shall be assigned a date/ slot as per the availability of the same. With this rank around 10177 in AEEE, getting core CSE in slab 1 may be difficult because CSE seats usually close at better ranks. However, you may still have chances for CSE specializations or ECE depending on seat availability and counselling rounds.
