WBJEE exam date 2026 has been announced at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates can stay updated with important examination and admission events through WBJEE exam dates. According to official notification, WBJEEB will conduct WBJEE 2026 exam as an offline test for all registered candidates on May 24. To participate in entrance exam, candidates had to submit WBJEE application form 2026 online.
Registered candidates will be able to download WBJEE admit card 2026 from May 15 . At exam centre, WBJEE hall ticket will be required. Candidates will be able to check obtained scores and ranks through WBJEE result/rank card. After result are announced, WBJEE 2026 counselling dates will be released. WBJEE registration link 2026 was available online. All applications for WBJEE exam 2026 had to be submitted before final date, which was extended until April 8. WBJEE 2026 Admit Card Date

Registered candidates will be able to download WBJEE 2026 hall ticket online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee on May 15. To download admit card, they will have to log in using required details. Through WBJEE admit card 2026, candidates can check details such as their allotted exam centre, date, timings, guidelines and more. No other mode will be used to release hall ticket. Once WBJEE exam centres 2026 are allotted, it cannot be changed.

While reporting to allotted centre, they will have to bring WBJEE admit card and identity proof for verification. If these documents are not shown, candidates will not be considered eligible for the entrance examination.

WBJEE 2026 Exam Date

WBJEEB has announced WBJEE exam date 2026. According to official notification, WBJEE 2026 exam will be held on May 24, as a pen and paper based test. Candidates will have to attempt both papers in one day, Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry). For BTech admission, both papers have to be attempted.

No, there is no provision for conducting WBJEE twice a year. WBJEEB has always conducted WBJEE as an annual one day examination. If there is any change in exam pattern, it will be announced online.

Q:   Which subjects do I have to study for WBJEE?
A: 

For WBJEE, candidates will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Level of WBJEE syllabus will be similar to 12th class qualifying exam.

Q:   Is WBJEE an online or offline exam?
A: 

WBJEE is held offline as a pen and paper based test. Students have to report to centre and attempt exam in an OMR sheet. Out of the given options for each question, student will have to mark correct one with their pen and submit it.

WBJEE 2026 Answer Key Dates

WBJEE 2026 answer key will be released a few days after conclusion of exam. Through provisional answer key, candidates can check correct responses to WBJEE question paper. Using provisional key, they can calculate probable secured scores in exam. WBJEEB will accept objections against model WBJEE answer key until final date, which will be announced soon. WBJEE 2026 OMR and response sheets will also be released online, through which candidates can check individual responses submitted during exam. 

After all submitted objections are checked, final WBJEE 2026 answer key will be released. No objections against final key will be accepted.

WBJEE marking scheme is different according to category of question. The questions are divided into three categories. For Category I and II, there is negative marking, while there is none for Category III questions.

WBJEE 2026 Counselling Dates

WBJEEB will announce WBJEE counselling dates 2026 after official results are announced. All qualified candidates have to participate in WBJEE counselling for admission. During counselling registration, required fee has to be paid and candidates will have to choose preferred courses and colleges. Fresh registrations are not accepted for second round of counselling.

WBJEE seat allotment result will be announced separately for two counselling rounds. Allotment will be done according to candidate's rank and preferences. Once seats are allotted, candidates will have to confirm admission by paying seat acceptance fee and verifying their documents. If admission is not confirmed before last date, allotment will be cancelled.

WBJEE 2026 application form was available at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. Candidates had to complete registration and pay WBJEE 2026 application fee before last date, which was extended until April 8. While filling online application form, all required details had to be correctly filled. Scanned documents had to be uploaded and preferred exam cities had to be selected. No offline applications were accepted for WBJEE 2026 exam. After the final date, no applications will be accepted.

No, you cannot join Neotia University without appearing for an entrance examination. The university admits students to the BTech courses based on the WBJEE entrance exam, followed by the WBJEE counselling process.
