APSET cut-off 2024 has been released by Andhra University along with the result. The APSET cutoff marks 2024 have been released subject-wise and category-wise. A total of six per cent of the appeared candidates are declared qualified in the exam for the post of Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the state universities. These 6 per cent candidates are distributed among various categories as per the reservation policy, such as - BC-A (7%), BC-B (10%), BC-C (1%), BC-D (7%), BC-E (4%), SC (15%), ST (6%). In each category, 33.33% of Women category and 4% of PWD candidates are given reservations vertically. Based on the APSET Results 2024, candidates are provisionally declared qualified in the exam, subject to fulfilment of the eligibility conditions.
No, there is no negative marking in the APSET exam. In the APSET exam, Paper 1 and Paper 2 combinedly contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 1 comprises 50 questions of 100 marks and Paper 2 comprises 100 MCQs of 200 marks. Each question is of 2 marks. However, there is no negative marking for wrong answers or unattempted questions in the APSET exam.
