CAT 2019 will be held on November 24, 2019. The announcement was made on July 28, 2019 when IIM Kozhikode released the official CAT 2019 notification.
The online exam is will be held at about 4000 exam centres in 156 cities across the country. About 2 lakh plus students are expected to apply this year.
CAT exam is conducted every year on a single-day in two sessions by the Indian Institute of Management on rotational basis. CAT 2017 was conducted by IIM Lucknow. CAT 2018 was conducted by IIM Calcutta. This year, the exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode.
The CAT registration process will begin from August 7, 2019 (10: 00 am) and end on September 18, 2019 (5:00 pm). The admit card will be issued from October 23, 2019 till CAT exam date. CAT 2019 result will be announced in the second week of January, 2020 (tentatively January 6, 2020). Take a look at tentative CAT exam dates below.

Once the exam notification is announced, aspirants will be required to fill the online application form. Application fee is Rs 1900 for General category students and Rs 950 for Reserved category students.

CAT registration will be an online process. The candidates will be required to register on the official website of CAT 2019, fill the application form, upload relevant documents and pay the fees.
