CIL to Announce Management Trainee Recruitment Through GATE 2024 Soon

The Coal India Management (CIL) has recently posted a notification regarding recruiting engineering graduates through GATE 2024 in six technical disciplines. Read below for more details -

Coal India Limited, an Indian-sector public undertaking and the largest government-owned coal producer, recently announced the recruitment for Management Trainee posts based on GATE 2024 scores. Online registrations will be available soon on the official website. 

Candidates will be shortlisted for six technical engineering disciplines: Mining, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, System and Electronics, and Telecommunication. The details regarding the job profile, registration dates, vacancies, reservation, fees, selection process, pay scale, etc., will be notified soon on the official website of the CIL—www.coalindia.in.

Coal India Limited Recruitment Through GATE 2024: Registrations

The CIL GATE 2024 application form will be available online, and eligible candidates can submit their registrations before the due date. Last year, recruitment was done for civil, mining, and geology background candidates for around 560 vacancies. 

Coal India Limited Recruitment Through GATE 2024: Application Fees

The application fee for candidates in the General/OBC (creamy and non-creamy layer)/EWS category is INR 1000+ GST. Applicants in the reserved category are exempt from this fee. 

Coal India Limited Recruitment Through GATE 2024: Upper-Age Limit

The upper age limit for candidates in the general and EWS categories is 30 years ( as of the current year). However, reserved category candidates will be relaxed as per government norms. 

CIL GATE 2024 Selection Process

Eligible candidates must have appeared and qualified for GATE 2024. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the exam, followed by the required eligibility criteria. CIL Management Trainee selection through GATE will be made discipline—and category-wise, in the ratio of 1:3 in order of merit for further selection. 

The Coal India Limited GATE 2024 final merit list will be published on the official website, after which selected candidates must attend the document verification process.
