Andhra University, Visakhapatnam has announced APSET 2020 result and cut off marks on February 22. The result has been announced in the form of merit list. Candidates who appeared in the exam can access their results from the official website. The result PDF contains the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
APSET 2020 exam was conducted on December 20, 2020 in 30 subjects. A total of 26, 527 candidates had appeared for the examination. The results of APSET have been finalised as per the guidelines of UGC. The results were scrutinized and approved by the moderation committee and steering committee.
According to the result notice, 6% of candidates who have qualified in all the three papers were declared qualified for the eligibility for Assistant Professor/Lecturer. These 6% candidates were distributed among various categories as per the reservation policy. The reservation allotted to BC-A is 7%, BC-B is 10%, BC-C is 1%, BC-E is 4%, SC is 15%, ST is 6%. The 33.33% for women category and 4% for PWD candidates are given reservation vertically in each category.
Candidates who have secured at least 40% (General Category) and 35% (reserved categories) in two papers have been declared eligible for Assistant Professor/Lecture. Check APSET 2020 Cutoff
