MHT CET 2026 Exam Dates

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell is expected to announce the MHT CET 2027 exam dates through the official information brochure. As per the latest updates shared by the CET Cell, MHT CET 2027 is likely to be conducted in two attempts, with the first attempt expected between December 15, 2026 and January 15, 2027, while the second attempt may be held in April 2027. However, the detailed schedule is yet to be notified officially. 

Candidates appearing for the Engineering (PCM) and Pharmacy (PCB) groups should regularly check the official website for updates on registration, admit card, exam dates, result declaration, and counselling schedule. MHT CET 2027 Registration Dates

The MHT CET 2027 registration process is expected to begin in September 2026 for the first attempt. Candidates will be able to complete the application form online by entering their personal, academic, and communication details, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fee. The registration schedule for the second attempt is expected to be announced in February 2027.

MHT CET City Intimation Slip 2027 Date

The CET Cell will release the MHT CET 2027 city intimation slip for both PCM and PCB groups separately. The city intimation slip, which is an advanced document, mentions the candidate's exam date, shift and city. Students must note that the MHT CET city intimation slip is not the final admit card. It is only a preliminary document that helps candidates know their exam city in advance. The final admit card or the MHT CET hall ticket will be released around three to four days before the exam.

Yes, the MHT CET 2027 exam is MCQ type for both the PCM and PCB groups. For each question, students will be given 4 alternatives and candidates have to mark the correct answer.

Q:   How can I prepare for MHT CET without coaching?

Taking help of coaching is not necessarily required for clearing the MHT CET exam. Many students score good marks in MHT CET by self-studying, without help from coaching. To crack MHT CET without coaching, students need to make a study plan considering the time they have before exam.

Students can take help of online tutorials and videos from previous year toppers who have cleared the exam without coaching to understand their strategy. One thing that is required when students are not taking coaching is regular study.

Make a daily time table of study and devote at least 5-6 hours for MHT CET preparation. Students who are in class 11 or 12 can give 3-4 hours specifically for CET beside school studies. Students who have passed class 12 should also study at least 6 hours daily.

Q:   What is the overall difficulty level of MHT CET exam?

As per the information brochure, the MHT CET exam will be similar to the JEE Main exam in terms of difficulty level. However, those who appear for both tests often report that MHT CET is easier as compared to JEE Mains.

MHT CET 2027 Admit Card Date

The MHT CET 2027 admit card is expected to be released around one to two weeks before the examination. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket by logging in with their registered email ID and password. The admit card will include details such as the candidate’s name, exam date, shift timing, reporting time, and allotted test centre.

MHT CET 2027 Answer Key Date

The Maharashtra CET Cell is likely to release the provisional MHT CET 2027 answer key within a few days after the examination. Candidates will be able to compare their responses, estimate their scores, and raise objections within the specified deadline by paying the prescribed fee for each challenge. The final answer key will be published after reviewing all valid objections.

Starting the MHT CET preparation from class 11 or 12 is the best time as MHT CET syllabus consists of topics from class 11 and 12 and students can easily cover all the topics along with school. Students can begin by checking the topics that is covered in both school and MHT CET and give special attention to them. For all three subjects, study NCERT and also take help from reference books. Understand the concepts thoroughly and solve numerical problems. To crack MHT CET along with class 12, students should devote at least 2-3 hours for CET beside class 12 studies. Regularly solve MHT CET mock test and solve previous year question papers to evaluate the performance.

Q:   How is MHT CET Merit list prepared?

Merit list of MHT CET is prepared considering class 12 marks and CET in 50:50 ratio. The position of candidates in the merit list will be based on marks obtained by adding the MHT CET and class 12 marks. The merit position will be the All India Rank of candidates which will be considered for the allotment of seats.

Q:   Is MHT CET difficulty level similar to JEE Mains?

Yes, MHT CET is similar to JEE Mains in difficulty level, as per the exam conducting authority. However, the syllabus of MHT CET is less in comparison to JEE Mains. In MHT CET, class 12 complete syllabus and only a few topics of class 11 is asked whereas JEE Mains consists all topics of class 11 and 12 syllabus.

MHT CET 2027 Result Date

The MHT CET 2027 result for both PCM and PCB groups is expected to be announced separately after the answer key process concludes. Candidates can download their scorecards using their login credentials. The result will include the percentile score, subject-wise performance, and qualifying status, which will be used for the counselling process.

The facility of making corrections in MHT CET application form is provided for candidates to edit incorrect details filled in the form. However, not all the details filled in application form can be changes.

  • Name, mobile number and email ID of candidates CANNOT be changed.
  • Candidates can change their category, photo, signature and other uploaded documents
  • Paper for which appearing (PCB or PCM)
  • In case candidate changes their category from unreserved to reserved category, they will be required to pay the difference in application fee

No, candidates need not pay any fees for making corrections in MHT CET application form. Applicants can make changes in certain fields only. Personal details like email ID, mobile number, parents' details and others can not be changed at the time of MHT CET 2026 correction facility.

Yes, the Maharashtra State CET Cell also conducts this law entrance exam outside Maharashtra. Candidates can choose outside exam centres during application form filling.

It is important to check the MH CET 3-year LLB marks versus percentile. This is because college admissions are based strictly on your final percentile rank rather than your raw score.

Sorry, but according to me with 96.09 percentile in MHT-CET through PCB, you cannot get admission to ICT for B.Tech Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology. The cuttoff competitively closes around 99.0 to 99.9 percentile.
