SNAP 2026 exam will be conducted in December in three sessions. The gap between every session will be one week. Candidates will have to option to appear for the exam om one, two or three sessions. Registration process for SNAP 2026 will start in first week of August and go on till November 2026. The application form will be available at SNAPTEST.org website. What is SNAP Exam?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP Test is a common entrance exam for admission to MBA courses offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. Apart from Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU), JK Business School-Gurgaon also accepts SNAP score for admission to its MBA programmes. SNAP is an annual exam, with maximum 3 attempts in the given academic session.

SNAP 2026 exam will be conducted in December (Saturday/Sunday). Candidates will have to solve questions from General EnglishQuantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. Those who will qualify the SNAP 2026, will be eligible for GE-PI round, to be held at various campuses on different dates.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates have to fulfil the below-given eligibility criteria for appearing in SNAP exam 2026:

  • Bachelor's degree in any stream or equivalent with minimum 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognised university or institute can apply for SNAP 2026.

  • Candidates in final year of their Bachelor's degree or equivalent can also appear in SNAP. However, they will have to present passing certificate of final year by a certain deadline to the institute. Till then their selection will be provisional.
  • There is no age limit for SNAP. Any individual or working professional can appear for the exam.
  • International students have to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to be able to apply for SNAP 2026.
  • For certain MBA specialisations offered by SIU constituent institutes, one may need to have studied a relevant course in graduation.

SNAP Application Process 2026

SNAP registration cum application process is online. Candiates have to register for the exam online and then fill the form. Check how to fill the SNAP 2026 application form below:

  • Visit the SNAP 2026 website (snaptest.org)
  • Click on 'apply now'
  • Go to register option and enter personal and academic details, choose exam dates, test city
  • Upload passport size photo (not more than six months old)
  • Make payment of SNAP application fee of INR 2,250 via credit/debit card or net banking
  • Enter academic details, work experience and address
  • Select SIU colleges and courses of your choice
  • Pay INR 1,000 per course/college to complete the process

SNAP Test Cities and Centres

A candidate can choose up to three cities for allotment of test location in the SNAP 2026 application form in accordance with the exam session (not all SNAP sessions are conducted in all SNAP cities). The test centre will be alloted in the city of preference.

SNAP Syllabus 2026

The SNAP syllabus 2026 includes Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. One can cover all the topics in 4-5 months and crack the exam with high scores. Since, the nature of questions are different in SNAP, it is advised that candidates prepare for it separately and not combine with other MBA entrance exam preparation. SNAP Exam Preparation 2026

Even though SNAP is an easy exam, but preparation for it should not be taken lightly. The syllabus of SNAP includes a lot od topics and each one of them need quality time. You will need focussed guidance  Here are a few basic guidelines to follow while preparing for SNAP 2026.

  • Candidates must study all the topics included in SNAP syllabus and practice previous years' SNAP question papers. They must not skip any chapter.
  • SNAP 2026 preparation plan should include weekly and monthly targets so that the syllabus is covered on time and candidates get ample time to practice questions/mock tests.
  • Practicing official SNAP mock test and revision in the last month is crucial. A major part of success depends on the number and quality of SNAP mock tests you have attempted successfully.
  • Candidates must ensure that they have thoroughly understood concepts and formulae of Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Reasoning and Verbal Ability. 
  • If there are gaps, then they must reach out to mentors/guide/peers for doubt clearing sessions.

  • SNAP is a 60 minute exam, so speed is the prime requirement. In the last one month of SNAP 2026 preparation, candidates must practice enough to gain speed.

SNAP 2026 Exam Pattern

 SNAP 2026 exam pattern is prescribed by SIU considering that the test is conducted for assessing candidate's reasoning and analytical skills. Check below the highlights of SNAP exam pattern 2026:

  • The SNAP 2026 exam duration will be 60 minutes
  • There will be no sectional time limit in SNAP
  • The total number of questions in SNAP 2026 will be 60
  • SNAP General English section will have 15 questions
  • Analytical and Logical Reasoning section will have 25 questions
  • Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation-Data Sufficiency will have 20 questions.
  • Total marks of the exam will be 60.
  • Every question will carry 1 mark
  • There will be negative marking of - 0.25 marks for every wrong attempt
  • The difficulty level of SNAP exam 2026 will be easy to moderate.

SNAP Admit Card 2026

SNAP 2026 admit card will be session specific. It will be released for each session on separate dates. Check below the steps to download SNAP admit card:

  • Log on to SNAP 2026 website
  • Click on 'admit card for Test 1/Test 2/Test 3' tab
  • Enter SNAP ID and password
  • SNAP admit card tab will appear on the screen
  • Click on download option and save the hall ticket

SNAP 2026 Exam Day Guidelines 

SNAP 2026 exam will be held at designated test centres under CCTV surveillance. Candidates will have to follow certain guidelines. Listed below are some key dos and don’ts of SNAP exam.

SNAP Dos:

  • Candidates must reach their test centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the hall ticket
  • Candidates with disability and their scribe should carry relevant documents of identification
  • Carry two colour printouts of SNAP 2026 admit card and one of the following documents as ID proof:
    • Driving license
    • Passport
    • PAN card
    • Voter ID
    • Aadhaar card

SNAP-Test-Day-Guide

SNAP Don'ts:

  • Do not carry cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, digital watches or any electronics gadgets to the exam hall.

  • Do not carry bags and valuables to the test centre
  • Do not reach the SNAP test centre late. Entry in the exam hall will not be allowed after gates are closed.

  • Do not leave the exam hall until asked to.

Q:   Is SNAP exam conducted in multiple slots?
A: 

No, SNAP exam is conducted in only one slot but on three days. In 2025, the exam will be conducted on three days and the candidates can attempt the exam in all three sessions. Separate admit card will be released for every SNAP session. Multiple sessions are conducted for SNAP to provide an opportunity to candidates to improve their scores. If the first session turns out to be difficult for a candidate, they can study more and take the second exam to improve the score. The best scores of all the sessions taken by the candidate is taken into consideration for SIU MBA admission, thus candidates need not worry about whether their second/third attempt will better than first or not.

Q:   I am in my final year of Graduation. Can I apply for SNAP?
A: 

Yes, you are eligible to apply for SNAP. Since there is minimum score requirement for SNAP, final year candidates will have to make sure that their minimum score of first and second year is above 50% (45% for reserved category). 

Q:   How many cities can an applicant choose in SNAP for test centre allotment?
A: 

An applicant can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre in the SNAP application form. The exam authorities will allot the exam centre to candidates in their preferred city. In case, seats are not available in the first preferred city, it will be notified in the form and candidates can select another city. Candidates must select their home city or city of current residence as first preference.

SNAP is conducted in about 84 cities across India. The latest list of SNAP cities has been released along with the SNAP registration form. Every city will have at least one SNAP exam centre to accommodate a minimum of 50 test takers. You can select only one city per exam session. For example, if you want to appear for SNAP exam only once, then you can select only one city. 

Q:   I do not have 50 percent in graduation. Can I apply for SNAP?
A: 

Minimum eligibility criterion for SNAP is 50 percent score in graduation for General category candidates. However, if you belong to any of the Reserved categories and have a minimum of 45 percent of in graduation you can apply for SNAP.
