IBPS RRB Exam Date 2025: Check Exam Timing, Duration & Schedule

IBPS RRB Clerk exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for the post of Clerks in the Regional Rural Banks. It is one of the most demanding and prestigious government jobs. Candidates joining as IBPS RRB Clerk receive basic salary of INR 19,900. The salary structure of IBPS RRB is given below.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts IBPS RRB exam for recruitment to the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) or Gramin Banks. IBPS organises the RRB CWE Exam every year for the recruitment to the posts of Officers Scale 1, 2, 3 and Office Assistant. The exam is conducted online. IBPS is fully responsible for conducting RRB Common Written Exam (CWE). For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) the examination is conducted in two phases i.e.  preliminary and mains. For the post of Officers Scale 1, the exam is conducted in three phases-prelims , mains and interview. For the post of Officers Scale 2 and 3, the exam is conducted in two phases single online exam and interview. In recent years, the level of competition for IBPS RRB exams has spurt exponentially. Graduates from any field of study can attempt this exam. 

IBPS RRB 2026 application form will be released in September. Interested candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee is INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of their application forms. IBPS RRB application form is released to fill up vacancies for the posts of Officers Scale 1, 2, 3 and Office Assistant. Before filling the application form, candidates must ascertain that they fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the examination authority for IBPS RRB exam.

IBPS RRB PO prelims exam was conducted on November 22 and 23, 2025. The preliminary exam of IBPS RRB 2025 for Office Assistant was conducted on December 5, 7, 13 and 14, 2025.  The mains exam for IBPS RRB PO 2025 was conducted on December 28, 2025. The mains exam for IBPS RRB Clerk will be conducted on February 1, 2025. The single online exam as per IBPS RRB Exam Dates 2025 was conducted on December 28, 2025. 

The next level after PO is Assistant Manager. After promotions, candidates can reach the next levels which are Branch Manager, Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager, General Manager. Candidates can reach upto the level of Chief General Manager.
