RBI Exam Dates 2025: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will soon announce the exam dates for the RBI Assistant 2025 and RBI Grade B 2025 examinations. The RBI Assistant notification 2025 is expected to be released soon. The RBI Assistant Apply Online 2025 link will be activated along with the official notification. The RBI Grade B 2025 notification will be released soon as well. The application for the different posts under the RBI exams begins after the release of the official notification.

RBI Grade B Dates 2025: Application

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will soon release the RBI Grade B 2025 notification. RBI Grade B application form 2025 will be available online. The RBI exam application form process comprises the uploading of a photo and signature, filling out the personal and educational information, application preview, and fee payment. The category-wise application fees have been given below for the candidates in the table:

RBI Admit Card Date

RBI admit cards for various posts are released phase-wise. RBI admit cards for various phases are issued online. Candidates can access their admit card by logging in with their registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.

The steps to retrieve the password are given below:

Candidates need to carry the printed copy of their admit cards along with one photo identity proof to the exam centre. After downloading RBI Assistant admit card, candidates are advised to check the details carefully. In case of any anomalies, candidates must report it to the examination authority. The admit card comprises details such as candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, category, gender, scanned photograph, scanned signature, password, registration number, name and address of exam centre, exam date, reporting time and important instructions for the exam.

Candidates belonging to the unreserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit. The category-wise age relaxation given to candidates are given below: Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST)-By 5 years, I. e. up to 33 years Other Backward Classes (OBC)-By 3 years, I. e. up to 31 years Persons with Disabilities (PWD)-By 10 years (GEN/ EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST) Ex-Servicemen-To the extent of service rendered by them in Armed Forces plus an additional period of 3 years subject to maximum of 50 years Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married-By 10 years Candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from 1st January, 1980 to 31st December, 1989-By 5 years Candidates having work experience in Reserve Bank of India-To the extent of number of years of such experience, subject to maximum of 3 years.

RBI Salary for Assistant and Grade B

Candidates who want to get jobs at RBI must know that RBI offers handsome salaries to its employees. The RBI salary details have been given below for the candidates:

  • The CTC of an RBI Grade B Officer sums up to INR 12 lakhs per annum. The starting in-hand salary of an RBI Grade B Officer is INR 77,000 per month approximately
  •  RBI Assistant salary is INR 14,650 and the pay scale 13150-750 (3)-15400- 900(4) -19000-1200(6)-26200-1300 (2)-28800- 1480(3) – 33240 – 1750 (1)- 34990

Q:   I belong to PwBD category. Will I be provided scribe in RBI Assistant exam?
A: 

At the time of online/written examination, only those PwBD candidates (who have disability of 40% or more) who have physical limitation in typing/writing including that of speed would be allowed the facility to use the service of a scribe. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply. The candidate will have to arrange his/her own scribe/writer at his/her own cost. Both the candidate as well as the scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking, in the prescribed format with passport size photograph of the scribe at the time of examination. 

Q:   Can reserved category candidates apply against unreserved category vacancies for RBI Assistant exam?
A: 

Reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS may apply against unreserved vacancies, if vacancies have not been reserved for their category in their state. However, they must fulfil the eligibility criteria for age and educational qualification at par with unreserved candidates. They will, however, be eligible for fee concession (as applicable),  but will have to pay specified intimation charges.

RBI Dates 2025: Result

After the scrutiny of the provisional answer key, the board releases the final answer key and the final result for the RBI exam. The final result is released in the form of a PDF. The candidates can download the PDF and check their roll numbers. The cut-off and the scorecard for the RBI exam are released a few days after the declaration of the results

LPT is mandatory. No exemption of any sort will be given to any candidate from appearing in LPT,  which will be conducted at respective Regional Offices of the Bank. Final selection will be on the basis of candidate's performance in the online examination (in the order of merit), qualifying in LPT,  Medical fitness, verification of certificates, etc. to the Bank's satisfaction. Decision of the Bank in this regard, is final.

The prelims exam of RBI Assistant is conducted at more than 160 cities and the Mains exam is held in around 100 cities. Candidates are required to choose one exam city each for prelims and Mains exam.The exam centre once selected cannot be changed later. Candidates should choose the exam city carefully while filling the application form. The details related to the exam centres are mentioned on the admit card.
