RBI Recruitment 2024: The RBI Grade B recruitment 2024 is underway for a total of 94 vacancies. The RBI Grade B 2024 Phase 1 exam was held on September 14, 2024, for DEPR/DSIM departments. The RBI Grade B result 2024 will be released soon. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recruits various posts every year. Q:   What is RBI Grade B eligibility?

Candidates applying for RBI Grade B recruitment should be between 21 and 30 years as per the eligibility criteria. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit. For M.Phil and Ph.D. the upper age limit is 32 and 34, respectively. The educational qualification required for RBI Grade B is Graduation. Candidates need to secure the required minimum percentage of marks in Graduation. Candidates must secure 60 per cent in graduation (50 per cent for SC/ST/PwBD applicants). There is a limit on the number of attempts in RBI Grade B exam. Candidates belonging to the general category are permitted only six attempts. There is no limit in the number of attempts for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS candidates. The relaxation given in the age limit to candidates belonging to the reserved categories is provided below: SC/ST-5 years OBC-3 years Physically Handicapped-10 years PH OBC-13 years PH SC/ST-15 Years

Q:   What is RBI Assistant selection process?

The selection process includes preliminary and Mains exams followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The prelims exam is divided into three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The total duration of the preliminary exam is 60 minutes. The Mains exam carries questions from Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The marks of the Mains exam are taken into consideration for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam are called for LPT. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The prelims exam serves as a screening test for the mains exam.

The selected officers join the Combined Seniority Group (CSG). The gross salary is INR 1,08, 404 (Approximately). The basic RBI Grade B salary is INR 55,200 per month. Candidates under RBI Grade B recruitment are selected based on Phase-I exam, Phase-II exam, and Interview.

RBI Assistant

RBI Assistant recruitment is conducted for candidates who wish to join the central bank for the post of Assistant. The selection process for RBI Assistant comprises prelims, mains, and the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). According to RBI Assistant eligibility, candidates should be between 20 and 28 years old.
