What is IBPS SO cut off?

IBPS SO cut off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate must get to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process. IBPS SO cut off marks are announced after the exam is conducted for each stage. IBPS SO cut off is derived based on the two different aspects-sectional and overall. IBPS SO cutoffs are issued for each post category separately.

Does IBPS release any cut off marks for the reserve list?

Yes, IBPS Clerk cut off is also released for the reserve list. Candidates from the reserve list are offered allotment as per the requirement of the banks. The reserve list cut off remains valid for a financial year. A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category is kept, subject to the availability of candidates.

How is IBPS Clerk cut off calculated?

IBPS Clerk cut off for the prelims exam is calculated out of 100. The Mains exam cut off is calculated after normalising the marks out of 100. The cut off is applied on overall/state-wise cutoff marks and sectional cut off.

How is the cut-off of IBPS RRB calculated?

IBPS RRB cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam. IBPS RRB cut off is applied on different sections and overall/total marks. IBPS RRB cut off for the prelims exam is calculated out of 80 marks. IBPS RRB Mains cut off is calculated out of 200 marks. The provisional allotment cut off is calculated out of 100 marks. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are declared qualified in each stage of selection process. As the exam is conducted in different shifts, the cut off is calculated after normalising the marks of candidates. Normalisation of IBPS RRB cut off is done to maintain transparency in the examination process.

How is the provisional allotment through IBPS PO exam done?

The provisional allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling the criteria for Participating Banks and identity verification to the satisfaction of the allotted bank. This does not constitute an offer of employment. In case it is detected at any stage of the recruitment process that, the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria his/her candidature/ chance in the process shall stand cancelled. IBPS PO final allotment is done based on the performance in the Mains exam and interview. As the provisional allotment will be made to participating banks on merit cum preference basis, once the provisional allotment is made, no request for change shall be entertained. Any request for change shall result in cancellation of candidature.

What is normalization of IBPS cutoff?

Normalisation is the standard method followed to calculate the marks of candidates where the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. This is done to adjust the variations in the difficulty level of the question paper. IBPS cut-off is calculated after normalizing the marks of candidates.

IBPS Cut Off 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) released IBPS Final Cutoff for PO & SO posts. The section-wise, category-wise, and state-wise IBPS cut-off marks are released separately for different posts and stages of exams. To check IBPS cutoff 2025 for various exams, candidates need to enter their registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. IBPS cutoff is applied to the total marks and section-wise marks. Candidates securing equal to or more than the IBPS cut-off are declared qualified at each stage of selection. IBPS PO Cut Off

IBPS PO cut off is released for prelims, mains, and final selection. IBPS PO cut off for the preliminary exam is calculated out of 100 marks. The mains cut off is determined out of 225. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40 per cent for the general category, while 35 per cent for SC / ST/ OBC/ PWBD.
