The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has the WBJEE 2024 registration process ongoing for all eligible candidates. To fill out the WBJEE 2024 application form, the candidates will have to visit wbjeeb.nic.in. The authorities will not accept any other mode of WBJEE application form 2024. The final date to submit the WBJEE application form is January 31, 2024.

What is the WBJEE 2024 eligibility criteria?

WBJEEB has released the official WBJEE 2024 eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to carefully check the eligibility criteria before starting the WBJEE 2024 registration process.

• Should be a citizen of India or OCI.
• Candidates should be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024. No upper age limit for BTech courses. However, for the Marine Engineering course, the upper age limit is 25 years as of December 31, 2024.
• Should have passed the 12^th standard (or equivalent) entrance examination or should be appearing for it in 2024 with Physics/Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.
• Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved category) in the 12^th standard (or equivalent) qualifying exam.

WBJEE 2024 Application Form Process

The WBJEE 2024 application form is available online. First, the candidates will have to register using basic details such as name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and more. A password also has to be set for future login. The WBJEE application number will be generated after the registration process is completed. Next, the candidates will have to fill out their personal, academic and contact details in the WBJEE application form 2024. Three preferred exam cities also have to be selected in the order of preference.

Next, the candidates will have to upload their photograph and signature as per the official specifications and pay the application fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Finally, the confirmation page has to be downloaded and printed out for future reference.

Registered candidates will be able to access the WBJEE 2024 admit card online at wbjeeb.nic.in on April 18, 2024. The authorities will conduct WBJEE 2024 on April 28, 2024, as a pen-and-paper-based test. During the entrance exam, the candidates will have to attempt 155 multiple-choice questions within 4 hours.
