BTech CSE Colleges in India 2026: Ranking, Admission, Fees, Dates, Exams, Placements, Cutoff

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.

BTech fees at NIT Warangal is INR 5 lakh for four years duration. Candidates must note that the given fee details are as per the sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative. 

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh -INR 36 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.  Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG score. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. To get into IIT Gandhinagar for BTech admission, the last round cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks for various specialisations ranged between 1708 and 11298. The most demanded specialisation for the General AI category was BTech in CSE. 

For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks for various specialisations ranged between 750 and 4653. The most demanded course for the OBC AI candidates was BTech in CSE.

Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank for admission to BTech in ECE was 4398. Therefore, admission at rank 3000 is possible for OBC AI category as well. 

Admission to all the BTech courses is subject to JEE Main scores and Class 12 scores(given equal weightage) for 50% of the seats and is subject to Class 12 scores for the remaining 50% of the seats. However, as per the official website, there is no fixed or specific cutoff to get a seat here. It depends on the students who score the highest marks. If a student has appeared for JEE Main then they need to apply under stream 1 of admission. Additionally, as per the data available on the internet, if a student has a score of 90-95% in Class 12 and 50-120 in JEE Main, there is a high possibility of getting admission.

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses for multiple All India categories.

For the General AI category, the cutoff for the BTech + MTech CSE course ranged from 42737 to 537200. As per this range the most competitive affiliated college was Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

Students holding high school Diploma issued by Northwest Accreditation Commission– US (NWAC-US) are eligible by providing an equivalent certificate issued by the association of Indian University (AIU) for BTech courses.

There are a total of 420 seats for BTech programmes offered at Amity University, Noida. The seat allotment is done based on candidates performance in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12. Additionally, the sanctioned seat intake is also taken into consideration. The university reserves the right to revise a seat count in an admission session. SIT Pune accepts scores from three major routes for BTech admissions. This includes institute's own SITEEE 2026 exam, JEE Main exam, and various State Level Entrance Exams such as MHT-CET.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 30764 and closing rank was 43910. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 38673 and 60348.
