TS SET 2025 Exam Pattern – Check Total Marks, Marking Scheme for Paper 1 & 2

TS SET exam pattern 2025 is prescribed by Osmania University. TS SET exam comprises two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Questions in first paper are general in nature. Questions in second paper are based on the subject chosen by the candidate. Both the papers contain objective type multiple choice questions that candidates need to complete in a duration of three hours. It may be noted that TS SET exam is conducted in online mode as a computer-based test (CBT).

TS SET Exam Pattern 2025 for Paper 1

TS SET Paper 1 contains a total of 50 objective questions of 100 marks. Each question carries weightage of two marks. There is no negative marking in the exam. Candidates need to attempt all questions in the exam.

The official website of the exam informs, “The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, Comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.”

TS SET Paper 2 contains total 100 objective questions of 200 marks. Each question carries weightage of two marks. There is no negative marking in the exam.
