    1. Height: For male candidates, the minimum height required is 168 cm and for female candidates, it is 152 cm. However, there is a relaxation in height for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules
    2. Chest: For male candidates, the minimum chest size is 79 cm (without expansion) and 84 cm (with expansion). The minimum expansion required is 5 cm.
  5. Other Requirements: The candidate must have a sound mind and good health. They must not have any physical defects or deformities that may interfere with the performance of duties as a Constable

  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the written examination are called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET consists of a race for both males and females, and a long jump and high jump for males. The race is of 4.8 km for males and 2.4 km for females. The long jump for males is of 11 feet and the high jump is of 3.5 feet
  3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who qualify in the PET are called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The PMT includes the measurement of height, weight, and chest size of the candidate. The minimum height required for male candidates is 168 cm and for female candidates is 152 cm
  4. Document Verification: The final stage of the selection process is document verification. Candidates who qualify in all the above stages are called for document verification. The documents required for verification include educational certificates, caste certificate, domicile certificate, and other relevant documents
