JEE Advanced Application Form 2026: IIT Roorkee will start the JEE Advanced 2026 registration on April 23 for Indian candidates. The application form for foreign nationals will be released on April 6. Link to fill the application form will be provided on this page once the registration starts. The last date of JEE Advanced registration 2026 is May 2.

To apply, candidates have to login to the JEE Advanced website using their JEE Main 2026 application number and date of birth. Thereafter, candidates have to fill JEE Advanced application form, upload the documents, and pay the application fee. How to Fill JEE Advanced 2026 Application Form?

Stage 1- Authenticate using JEE Main Details and Login

Every student needs to register through the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, by providing their JEE Main 2026 roll number, password, and security pin.

Stage 2- Fill JEE Advanced 2026 Registration Form

Students have to enter various personal details in the specific columns of the JEE Advanced 2026 application form. The information required includes category, exam city preference, details of previous JEE Adv attempt (if any) etc.

Stage 3- Upload Scanned Documents in JEE Advanced 2026 Form

Apart from the details, students will also need to upload scanned images of the documents needed.

Stage 4- Pay the JEE Advanced 2026 Application Fee

Now, using the available online payment mode, pay the JEE Advanced 2026 application fee.

Stage 5- Download and Print the JEE Advanced Registration Acknowledgement

After submitting all the details, students must take multiple printouts of the final application form for future requirements

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Nationals and OCI/PIO Candidates

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2001. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e. these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1996.
  • Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years. Read all details on JEE Advanced 2026 attempt limit.
  • A candidate should have appeared for the Class 12 (or equivalent) exam for the first time in either 2025 or 2026 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past.
  • Performance in JEE Mains: Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in BE/BTech paper of JEE Main 2026. The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these five categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign National or OCI/PIO Candidate in JEE Advanced 2026

Check who is considered a Foreign National and OCI/PIO candidate in JEE Advanced below.

Foreign Candidates:

  • Candidates who are NOT citizens of India (by birth or naturalised) (but not Overseas Citizens of India / Persons of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) candidates who have secured OCI/PIO card on or after 04.03.2021) shall be considered as FOREIGN NATIONALS.
  • The foreign national candidates, at the time of registering for JEE Advanced 2026, are NOT required to write NTA JEE Mains 2026 and may register for JEE Adv 2026 directly subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria
  • All foreign national candidates will be considered in addition to, and not as a part of the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify for appearing in JEE Advanced 2026.
  • All the seats allotted to foreign national candidates will be supernumerary, with a cap of 10% of the total number of seats in every course. These candidates are outside the ambit of reservation of seats under the GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories/sub-categories as specified in the Information Brochure of JEE (Advanced) 2026. There are no separate supernumerary seats or sub-categories for females in the foreign national supernumerary seats.

OCI/PIO Candidates:

  • As per the decision dated February 03, 2023, passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, the OCI/PIO candidates who have secured OCI/PIO cards after 04.03.2021 shall be considered foreign nationals and have to fulfil all the eligibility criteria applicable to any foreign national.
  • As per the decision dated February 03, 2023, passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, the OCI/PIO candidates who have secured OCI/PIO cards before 04.03.2021 shall be considered as Indian nationals and have to fulfil all the eligibility criteria applicable to any Indian national.

JEE Advanced 2026 Application Fee

Candidates can check here application fee details for JEE Advanced exam 2026. The JEE Advanced application fee for foreign candidates has increased this year. However, the fee for Indian candidates remains the same as last year.

Application fee of JEE Advanced can be paid online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. The form will be considered submitted only after successful payment of JEE Adavnced 2026 registration fee.

JEE Advanced 2026 Application Form Correction

There are no provisions for correction in the details filled in the online JEE Advanced 2026 form. Once the application form is submitted and the application fee is paid, the forms cannot be accessed for editing or any sort of correction. Therefore, candidates must carefully read, fill and submit the JEE Advanced application form 2026. The details in the application form will be used in the admit card, the result and also in the final admission/counselling. Hence, the candidates must be very cautious while submitting the JEE Advanced form. Check all details twice before the final submission of the form.
