• If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured.etc..), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam day
• If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is captured
• Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them
• If the primary finger (Right thumb) to be captured is injured/damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in
  the test centre

IBPS PO prelims exam is conducted in four shifts -9 am to 10 am, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 5 pm. IBPS PO Mains exam is conducted in two shifts- 9 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The shift timings of the prelims and Mains exams are mentioned on the admit card. The ratio of candidates selected for interview are in the ratio 80:20. Selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam., The performance of candidates in the interview is taken into consideration for final merit list. The total marks allotted to interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks allotted to interview are 40 per cent. The qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD are 35 per cent. The interview assesses a candidate's intellectual capability, overall personality, and general knowledge.
