IBPS SO cut off marks are the minimum marks that a candidate must get to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process. IBPS SO cut off marks are announced after the exam is conducted for each stage. IBPS SO cut off is derived based on the two different aspects-sectional and overall. IBPS SO cutoffs are issued for each post category separately.
Cut offs are the minimum marks required to be scored by each candidate in prelims, Mains or interview round. The preliminary exam is qualifying in nature although candidates have to secure the cut off to be eligible for the Mains round. The following factors determine IBPS SO cut off marks:
- Number of appeared candidates
- The difficulty level of the exam
- Total marks
- Number of vacancies
- Normalisation
The marking scheme of IBPS SO is given below:
- Students score one mark for right answer
- 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answer
IBPS SO 2025 prelims exam was conducted on August 30. The mains exam was conducted on November 9, 2025. Final selection is done based on the mains exam and interview.
