SBI Clerk 2019 mains exam has been postponed in some regions across the country. These areas include Belgaum (Karnataka), Kolhapur (Maharashtra), Kerala, Srinagar, Jammu and Samba. SBI Clerk mains exam for Belgaum (Karnataka), Kolhapur (Maharashtra) and Kerala has been deferred owing to incessant rains and floods. On the other hand, the exam for Srinagar, Jammu and Samba has been postponed due unavoidable circumstances. The revised dates of SBI Clerk mains exam will be announced soon.
The examination authority informed the candidates who have been allotted exam centres in these regions through e-mail and mobile message.
SBI Clerk 2019 mains exam for all other states was conducted successfully on August 10. According to reports, the overall paper of SBI Clerk was moderate to difficult. The Quantitative Aptitude section was difficult while the Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude section was difficult. The English Language section was moderate to difficult. The test paper comprised total of 190 objective type multiple-choice questions. Total marks allotted for the exam is 200. The total time of the test was 2 hours 40 minutes.SBI Clerk 2019 result for mains exam is expected to be announced in the third week of August.
The provisional allotment of candidates will be done based on their marks obtained in the mains exam and cut off marks. Candidates qualifying the mains exam and have provided Class 10 and 12 marksheet which mentions that they have studied the local language are not required to appear for the Language Test. In case of others, opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection before joining.
Final selection will be subjected to verification of eligibility and qualifying in the local language test. The examination authority also maintains a waitlist of up to 50 per cent vacancies (State-category wise).
