Overview

SBI Clerk 2026: The State Bank of India is expected to announce the SBI Clerk notification 2026 at sbi.bank.in. It is expected to be released in July 2026. The authority will also activate the SBI Clerk application form link online to apply for the exam. Candidates will be required to fill out the form as per the deadline that will be mentioned by the authority in the notification. The SBI Clerk Prelims exam will be conducted tentatively on September 26, 27 and October 3, 2026.

SBI Clerk Application Form 2026

SBI Clerk application form 2026 will be available on the official portal. Candidates who meet the eligibility parameters are required to submit the application form online only. SBI Clerk application process comprises stages such as registration, uploading of scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, previewing the application, uploading left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration. The application fee is INR 750 and can be paid online only. SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.

SBI Clerk Eligibility

SBI prescribes SBI Clerk exam eligibility 2026 along with the notification. The eligibility criteria are certain parameters in terms of age, educational qualification and nationality. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria inorder to be eligible for the exam. The eligibility criteria is given below:

To understand the exam pattern of an examination is very crucial. Candidate will the help of exam pattern come to know the marking scheme, weightage of the topics, number of questions asked, etc. The SBI Clerk exam will be conducted in two stages including Prelims and Mains. Candidates required to secure the marks more than or equal to the cut off marks of the SBI Clerk to qualify the each stage of an examination. The Prelims exam is the first stage in the selection process. The exam will be conducted online. The total marks of the prelims exam is 100 and that of Mains is 200. The SBI Clerk prelims exam is qualifying in nature and the marks scored by the candidate will not be counted for the final merit list. SBI Clerk mains hall ticket will be available few days prior to the examination date. The mains call letter will be released for the qualified candidates of prelims exam. The SBI Clerk admit card can be downloaded by logging with registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The process to download the admit card is given below.

SBI Clerk Cutoff 2026

SBI Clerk mains cut off will be released on the official portal. The cut off is announced along with the result state-wise and category-wise. There is no sectional cutoff in SBI Clerk exam. Selection will be done based on the mains cut off. That is, the authority releases the cut off for the SBI clerk exam individually for both prelims and mains. Also, category-wise cut offs for both SBI Clerk Preliminary exam and Mains exam is released. Candidates need to meet the cut offs for all the sections to get their names in the merit list. The salary break-up of SBI Clerk is given below:

Pay Scale The salary of SBI Clerk was revised. The pay scale is INR 17,900-1000/3-20,900-1230/3-24,590-1490/4-30,550-1730/7-42,600-3270/1-45,930-1990/1-47,920. The starting basic pay is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 plus two increments to graduates). Earlier, the starting basic pay was INR 13,075 (INR 11,765 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). 
Emoluments INR 29,000 per month inclusive of Dearness Allowance (DA) (in metro cities) other allowances and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate Junior Associates.
