Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2020 notification to release on May 11, 2021. The UPTET registration and application process will begin from May 18, 2021. As per the notice released, candidates will have to submit their applications online by visiting the official website. To complete the application process, candidates will have to pay an examination fee. This fee is Rs 600 for General category, Rs 400 for SC/ST and Rs 100 for PwD.

The UPTET 2020 exam will be conducted in two shifts on July 25, 2021 for Paper I and Paper II. The UPTET Paper I is for candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Paper II is for Classes 6 to 8 teachers. Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 8 will have to appear for both the papers.

UPTET 2020 Application Process

Go through the step-by-step process to fill the UPTET 2020 application form below:

Step 1: Visit official website of UPTET

Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link

Step 3: Click on 'New Registration' and register by entering the required details

Step 4: Fill the application form

Step 5: Upload the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature

Step 6: Pay the application fee

Step 7: Save the confirmation page and take out the print out for future reference.
