Stages of IBPS Result
aIBPS results are declared in the following stages:
IBPS Prelims Result
This is the first stage of the result declaration. On the basis of the result of this stage, candidates are selected for the mains exam. The marks obtained by candidates in the prelims are not counted for the final merit list.
IBPS Mains Result
The mains exam is conducted for the qualified candidates of the preliminary exam. Based on the result of the mains exam, candidates are called for interviews. The marks obtained in the mains exam are considered for the final merit list.
IBPS Final Result
The final selection of candidates is done based on the main exam and interview. For IBPS RRB Office Assistant post, candidates are selected for the mains exam. For IBPS Clerk post, the final selection is done based on the mains exam.

The public sector banks in India offer lucrative salaries to Clerical cadre posts along with various perks, incentives and benefits. Therefore, the in-hand salary of an IBPS Clerk may range between INR 28,000 to 30,000 per month. The following allowances are offered to IBPS Clerk: Dearness Allowance: This component is 4 per cent of the Basic Pay. DA depends on the CPI and is revised after every three months. House Rent Allowance: The HRA is dependent on the location of the posting. It is 8.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for Metro Cities, 7.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for cities having a population of more than 5 Lacs, and 6.5 per cent of the Basic Pay for other cities. Travel Allowance: The official tours and travels will be reimbursed by the bank. Medical Allowance: For IBPS Clerks, the amount is fixed at INR 2000. Medical allowance is provided once in a year. A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category may be kept, subject to the availability of candidates. This does not guarantee provisional allotment to/recruitment by the participating banks. In the event of Participating Banks providing further vacancies during April 2024-March 2025 at different intervals, provisional allotment may be carried out three to four times for the candidates in the reserve list, based on the vacancies provided by some or any of the participating banks at different intervals during the period. However, if no vacancy is furnished by the Participating Banks owing to exigencies or otherwise during the validity period, the candidates under the reserve list will not be considered for provisional allotment. The reserve list will expire automatically on March 31, 2025. Candidates who are not provisionally allotted or not in the reserve list will not be considered for further process.

Yes, IBPS Clerk cut off is also released for the reserve list. Candidates from the reserve list are offered allotment as per the requirement of the banks. The reserve list cut off remains valid for a financial year. A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category is kept, subject to the availability of candidates.
Selected candidates will get a salary amount only after a few deductions, called in-hand salary. The In-hand salary for the Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III cities is different. For example, if you are posted in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, your in-hand salary amount would be slightly more than others. The In-hand salary given will be inclusive of allowances as per the 7th pay commission.
