What is Indian Coast Guard Age Limit for General Duty?

Indian Coast Guard age limit for Navik General Duty is 18 to 22 years. 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates, if the posts are reserved for them and 3 Years for OBC, if the posts are reserved for them. EWS candidates will not get any age relaxation. Even if there is no vacancy reserved for SC / ST / OBC (Non - Creamy) / EWS category candidates, such candidates can still apply. However, they will not be eligible for any age and passing marks concession / relaxation etc. SC / ST candidates are exempt from payment of application fee even in such case.

What is Indian Coast Guard selection process for Navik?

The selection of candidate is based on an all India order of merit based on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV and meeting the laid down medical standards during medical examination and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG. All candidates will be compulsorily subjected to identity check prior commencement of the examination of Stage- I, II, III of CGEPT.

The Indian Coast Guard released the ICG AC result for 01/2027 Batch Result 2025 on October 28. To check the result, candidates are required to enter the login credentials.

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant result is declared in different phases-Stage I (Screening Test), Stage-II Preliminary Selection Board (PSB), Stage III Final Selection Board, Stage IV (Medical Exam), Stage V (Induction). The result is announced on the official website in PDF form. The result of the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Stage I exam is announced tentatively within 30 days. All India Merit List is based on the combined marks of Stage and Stage III exam.

ICG AC Final Result 2026

ICG AC final result 2026 has been announced. The roll numbers of selected candidates have been made available in PDF form. They need to undergo training in Indian Naval Academy.
