
BITSAT 2026 Syllabus: BITS, Pilani has released the BITSAT syllabus 2026 pdf online on the website, bitsadmission.com. Candidates can check details about subjects and topics that they need to prepare for the exam through the BITSAT syllabus. The syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Logical Reasoning for PCM candidates. Candidates have to study Biology instead of Mathematics for BPharma courses. The level of the BITSAT syllabus is similar to the 12th-class exam. They should also check the BITSAT 2026 exam pattern to prepare for the exam.

Changes in the BITSAT 2026 Syllabus
The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, has not introduced any changes in the BITSAT 2026 syllabus. The syllabus remains the same as that of previous years. The BITSAT syllabus is aligned with the NCERT curriculum for classes 11th and 12th. As of now, all the subjects like: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning have all the existing topics and weightage. Candidates who are appearing for the upcoming session must download the syllabus for BITSAT 2026 for reference.

BITSAT English Proficiency Syllabus

BITSAT 2026 Exam Pattern
BITSAT 2026 exam pattern will be available soon. The official BITSAT exam pattern will let the candidates know the details on how the entrance examination will be held. While preparing for the entrance exam, the candidates are advised to check the exam pattern along with the BITSAT 2026 syllabus. As per the exam pattern, the paper will be held as a computer-based test consisting of 130 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics/ Biology.

BITSAT mock test should be used so that candidates can understand exam pattern. Mock tests will also help students know important topics and questions. Another advantage of mock test is that students can work on their time management skills and be well prepared for exam.
Students will not be given any extra time to complete 12 additional questions in BITSAT paper. Additional questions have to be solved within 3 hours. These will only be provided if students complete 130 original questions before exam ends.
During BITSAT preparation, students should have a good study timetable. All syllabus should be covered before exam in study plan. Mock test and revision should be included in daily study plan.
The BITSAT question paper is divided into four section. For the Mathematics/Biology section, there will be 40 questions. Physics and Chemistry will have 30 questions in each section. Logical Reasoning will have 20 and English Proficiency will have 10 questions. There will 130 questions in the question paper.
BITS, Pilani, holds the BITSAT examination in two shifted sessions. The timings for the morning session are from 9 AM to 12 PM, and others are from 2 PM to 5 PM in the afternoon session. Candidates can select the BITSAT slot timings using the BITSAT slot booking system.
Students will be given 12 additional questions if they finish all 130 questions within 3 hours. Three questions will be available from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and Logical Reasoning. Students will not be able to go back to previously answered 130 questions, once they start solving additional questions.
