West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board is expected to announce the WBJEE 2022 result date soon at wbjeeb.nic.in. According to officials, the students can expect the WBJEE result 2022 to be declared by May 31. The result of WBJEE 2022 will be available online and the candidates will have to log in to access their scores.

The official WBJEE 2022 result date may be announced online by next week at wbjeeb.nic.in. To access the WBJEE 2022 result, the candidates will have to log in with their application number and date of birth. No other mode will be used to declare the result of WBJEE 2022.

Candidates will be able to check their composite marks in Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry), General Merit Rank (GMR), Qualifying Status and more details.

WBJEE 2022 Result - Tie Breaking Policy

If two or more candidates secure the same scores in WBJEE 2022, then the following tie-breaking policies will be followed.

  • Candidates with lesser negative marks in PCM will be given a higher rank.
  • If the tie still exists, then the candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics and Physics will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie is still not broken, then the candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie persists, then the candidate with lesser negative marks in Mathematics and Physics will be allotted a higher rank.
  • If the tie is not been broken, the candidate with lesser negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry will be given a higher rank.
  • If the tie still exists, then the candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics for only the two marks questions will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie is yet present, the candidate with more positive marks in Physics for only the two marks questions will be given a higher rank.
  • If the tie is still ongoing, the candidate with more positive marks in Chemistry for only the two marks questions will be allotted a higher rank.
  • If the tie persists, the candidate with lesser negative marks in Mathematics for only the two marks questions will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie still exists, the candidate with lesser negative marks in Physics for only the two marks questions will be given a higher rank.
  • If the tie persists, the candidate with lesser negative marks in Chemistry for only the two marks questions will be allotted a higher rank.
  • If in case a tie still exists, then the older candidate will be given a higher rank.

WBJEE 2022 was held on April 30 as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates who qualify the examination are considered eligible for BTech admissions into the participating institutes of the state.
