Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) HRDG will announce the CSIR NET 2021 exam date after the COVID-19 pandemic situation improves. The announcement was made through a tweet by the CSIR Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) on August 11, 2021. As per the tweet, the date will be announced on the CSIR-HRDG website.

The CSIR NET 2021 exam was initially set to be held in mid-July 2021. However, the exam was postponed due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the country.

What is the CSIR NET Exam?

The CSIR NET is a national-level exam that is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. The rest of the subjects are covered through the UGC NET exam.
