IBPS Clerk Application Form 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will release the IBPS Clerk 2026 application form along with the notification. The Institute will release the IBPS Clerk notification on its official website - ibps.in. The candidates must read the notification to know their elgibility criteria so that they can apply for the exam. The Institute will notify the last date for the IBPS 2026 applications.

The candidates should note that that application form will be filled online only. They will get the direct linlk to apply for the IBPS exam here. The application fees for the IBPS Clerk exam are INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. The application fees can be paid online. Candidates are not allowed to carry Stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner. Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. They cannot carry goggles, handbags, hairpin, hair band, belt, cap, wristwatch, camera, metallic item, etc. Eatable item is not allowed. Candidates must avoid wearing rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.
Q:   What are the shifts for IBPS Clerk exam?

IBPS Clerk prelims exam is conducted in four shifts-09:00 AM to 10.00 AM, 11.30 AM to 12:30 PM, 02.00 PM to 03.00 PM & 4.30 PM to 5.30 PM. The Mains exam is conducted in two shifts-10:00 am-12:40 pm and 03:00 pm-05.40 pm. The details related to the shift timing and reporting time are mentioned in the admit card.

Q:   Will I be provided travelling allowances to reach IBPS Clerk exam centre?

Candidates will not be provided any allowances to reach IBPS Clerk exam cetre. They need to manage to reach to the exam centre of their own.  IBPS Clerk prelims exam is conducted in around 200 cities. IBPS Clerk Mains exam is conducted in around 80 cities. Candidates are allotted test cities as per their preferences. Once the test cities are allotted it cannot be changed.

If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the call letter and photo identity proof are not allowed to appear for the exam. In case of candidates who have changed their name are allowed only if they produce Gazette notification/their marriage certificate/affidavit. Photo ID should be valid as on the day of the examination.
