IBPS Clerk Pre-Exam Training Admit Card

The admit card for pre-exam training is released for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ ExServicemen/ Persons With Benchmark Disabilities (PwD). 

IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card 

IBPS Clerk prelims admit card is issued to candidates who successfully register for the exam. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. 

IBPS Clerk Mains Admit Card

IBPS Clerk admit card for mains exam is released for candidates qualifying the prelims exam. The test carries a total of 200 marks.

Q:   Do I need to carry IBPS Clerk prelims admit card for the Mains exam?
A: 
Candidates should keep the authenticated IBPS Clerk prelims admit card and the photo-identity safely as they need to carry it while appearing for the Mains exam. The prelims admit card and the photo-identity proof is not collected at the exam centre during exam. Candidates who does not carry the prelims admit card are not allowed to appear for the Mains exam.
Q:   Are there any sectional timings in the IBPS Clerk exam?

Yes, there are sectional timings in IBPS Clerk exam. In prelims exam, candidates will get 20 minutes to answer each section. In the Mains exam, 35 minutes each will be given to answer questions from General/Financial Awareness, General English and 45 minutes each will be given to attempt Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude questions. If your IBPS Clerk admit card is not issued, you need to contact the examination authority. For evidence, provide your registration number and copy of the fee transaction receipt. If the admit card is lost then the examination authority does not issue duplicate IBPS Clerk admit card. Hence, it is the responsibility of candidates to keep the admit card safely till the completion of the exam.

Candidates are not allowed to carry Stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner. Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. They cannot carry goggles, handbags, hairpin, hair band, belt, cap, wristwatch, camera, metallic item, etc. Eatable item is not allowed. Candidates must avoid wearing rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.

IBPS Clerk exam is conducted in 13 regional languages. Earlier, the question papers are framed in English and Hindi only.

Q:   What are the photo-identity proofs required to be carried in IBPS Clerk exam along with the admit card?
A: 

Apart from IBPS Clerk admit card, candidates must carry one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. Verification of photo-identity proof is done by the exam centre officials at the entry gate. Candidates are required to show the IBPS Clerk hall ticket and photo-identity proof to the officials for verification. It is only after the verification of documents that candidates are allowed to proceed towards their allotted lab/exam hall. Due to the COVID-19 situation, registration of candidates is done through photo-capture. Candidates need to carry any one of the following photo-identity proofs to the exam centre:

  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Permanent Driving
  • Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook
  • Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer
  • People’s Representative along with a photograph
  • Identity Card issued by a recognised college/ university
  • Aadhar/ E-Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID
