Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will release RBI Grade B 2020 notification in September. The application form will be released along with the notification. 

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will release RBI Grade B 2020 notification in September. The notification will be available online in PDF form. In the notification, candidates will find information such as exam dates, application dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, vacancies and other important details. The application form will be released along with the notification. The Phase I exam will be conducted in November. The Phase II exam will be held in December.

RBI Grade B exam is conducted for direct recruitment of Grade B Officers in Combined Seniority Group (CSG) streams. Candidates are selected for the post of Officers in Grade B (General), Grade B (Department of Economic and Policy Research) and Grade B (Department of Statistics and Information Management). The selection of candidates to these posts is done based on Phase I, II exams, and Interview.

RBI Grade B 2020 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the exam, candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria.

• The age of candidates should be between 21 to 30 years
• Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories
• For Grade B (General) post, the educational qualification is graduation with 60% marks (50% for SC, ST and PwBD) candidates
• For DEPR & DSIM posts, the educational qualification is postgraduation with 55% aggregate (50% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates)
• Candidates belonging to the General category are permitted six attempts

How to apply online for RBI Grade B?

The application process of RBI Grade B is completely online. The steps to fill RBI Grade B application form are given below.

• Visit the official website of RBI
• Register for the exam by entering the name, category, date of birth, email ID, contact number and academic details among others
• After successful submission, registration number and password will be generated
• Upload the photograph and signature
• Fill in educational qualifications, domicile, category, nationality, state, select exam centres, etc.
• Preview the application form
• Pay the application fees which are Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD candidates and Rs 850 for Gen/OBC candidates
• Submit the application form and take printout of fee receipt
