RBI Result 2025: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases the results of the RBI Grade B and RBI Assistant exams after the assessment process. The central bank declared the RBI Grade B result and RBI Assistant result on its official website, which is rbi.org.in. Candidates can check their results by clicking on the link and downloading the PDF file. The RBI result PDF comprises the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates. Check below the detailed process to download the result PDF.

The scores of candidates for RBI Grade B exam are calculated based on the normalisation process since the exam is held in multiple sessions. The normalisation of marks are done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across various sessions. RBI Grade B scorecard displays the section-wise and overall scores. The scorecard can be downloaded by entering the required credentials. Candidates can download their scorecards online only. The normalisation of marks are done using equi-percentile method. In normalisation process, the marks of the difficult session are adjusted with the easier one. The marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers.

How scores are calculated for RBI Exams?

The candidates can calculate the marks for the RBI exam through the answer keys as shared here:

  • The number of questions marked correctly in the exam is considered for arriving at the corrected scores after applying a penalty for wrong answers
  • To arrive at the equated scores, the corrected scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor differences in difficulty level, as the exam is conducted in multiple sessions
  • Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms
  • Section-wise scores and overall scores are reported with decimal points up to two digits

Stages of RBI Result 2025

RBI result is declared in the following stages of the exam.

RBI Result 2025 for Prelims/Phase I

All registered candidates are first required to appear for the prelims or phase I exam. On the basis of candidates' performance, they are called for the next stage of the selection process.

RBI Result 2025 for Mains/Phase II

This stage is conducted for the shortlisted candidates of the prelims/phase I exam. Based on the result of this stage, candidates are called for interviews.

RBI Result 2025 for Final Selection

The final result is announced after the completion of the interview. The final result is announced on the basis of the candidates' performance in all the stages.

  • The CTC of an RBI Grade B Officer sums up to Rs. 12 lakhs per annum. The starting in-hand salary of an RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 77,000 per month approximately
  •  RBI Assistant salary is Rs. 14,650 and the pay scale 13150-750 (3)-15400- 900(4) -19000-1200(6)-26200-1300 (2)-28800- 1480(3) – 33240 – 1750 (1)- 34990

RBI Assistant exam pattern for prelims is divided into three sections. The mains exam carries five sections. The total marks allotted to the prelims test are 100. The mains exam consists of 200 marks.

Q:   I belong to PwBD category. Will I be provided scribe in RBI Assistant exam?

The candidate will have to arrange their scribes. Undertaking will be taken from both the students and scribe.

Q:   Can reserved category candidates apply against unreserved category vacancies for RBI Assistant exam?
A: 

Reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS may apply against unreserved vacancies, if vacancies have not been reserved for their category in their state. However, they must fulfil the eligibility criteria for age and educational qualification at par with unreserved candidates. They will, however, be eligible for fee concession (as applicable),  but will have to pay specified intimation charges.
