Territorial Army Recruitment 2024: Indian Army releases Territorial Army notification for Civilian posts. Both male and female candidates can apply for the exam. Candidates aged between 18 to 42 years could apply for Territorial Army. The application form was available from July 1 to 30, 2022. The written exam of Territorial Army will be conducted online. The standard of the papers in Elementary Mathematics is of Matriculation level. The standard of papers in other subjects is approximately be such as maybe expected of a graduate of an Indian university.

Territorial Army Exam Pattern
Territorial Army recruitment exam is an OMR-based test. The test comprises two papers. Paper 1 as per Territorial Army exam pattern comprises questions from Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics. Paper 2 comprises questions from General Knowledge and English. The total marks for the exam are 200. Candidates need to complete each paper within two hours. The minimum qualifying marks of the test are 40 per cent in each part of the paper. The overall average is 50 per cent.

Territorial Army Recruitment: Selection Process
The selection process comprises a written exam. Preliminary Interview, SSB Interview, and Medical Exam. All registered candidates are called to appear for the written exam. Candidates qualifying the exam are called by the Preliminary Interview Board (PIB) by the respective Territorial Army Group Headquarters. Successful candidates will further undergo tests at a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection.

- Application Form IAF (TA)-9 (Revised) Part-2 to be downloaded and fill it up in their own handwriting.
- All educational qualification certificates (Matric onwards).
- The latest physical fitness certificate from a registered MBBS Doctor.
- Copy of Identity proof with photographs (Voter ID/PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving license etc.).
- Domicile/ Residential proof.
- Certificate for proof of age (Matric/ Senior Secondary mark sheet and certificate for verification of date of birth).
- Service certificate by candidates employed in Central Govt/ Union Territory/ State/Semi Govt/ PSU Authenticated by Head Office along with salary certificate and No Objection Certificate by the department as per format given below.
- Service certificate by candidates employed in the Private Sector Authenticated by the Head Office along with salary certificate and No Objection Certificate by the department as per format.
- Self-employed candidates are required to submit an Affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper of minimum value duly attested stating the nature of employment and annual income along with a photocopy of PAN card and self-certified Character Certificate.
- Candidates whose names vary in documents should submit a copy of the Gazette notification of India/ State showing the correct name or an affidavit duly supported by newspaper cuttings.
- The latest income proof from the appropriate authority (i.e. Income Tax Revenue Department / Magistrate / Employer).
- Copy of the latest Income Tax Return (ITR) filed.
- Copy of PAN Card.
- Copy of Aadhar Card.
- Employees of Railways are required to submit a No Objection Certificate authenticated by the Railway Board.
