VITEEE Counselling 2027: VIT University will conduct VIT counselling after the declaration of the result. The expected date for the VITEEE result 2027 is the first week of May 2027. Candidates who qualify for the VITEEE will be eligible to attend the counselling. VITEEE counselling will be conducted on OTBS portal and is common for all VIT campuses in India: Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and AP.

VITEEE Counselling Dates 2027
VIT University will announce VITEEE counselling 2027 dates on its official website: viteee.vit.ac.in. Based on last year, the expected dates for VIT phase-wise counselling 2027 are May to June 2027. The counselling dates for each phase are divided into five categories:

VITEEE Counselling Fees 2027
After the declaration of the seat allotment result, candidates who are satisfied with their allotment have to pay advance and balance fees. The dates will be updated below once released on VIT OTBS portal. It must be noted that these fees are different from the VIT counselling registration fees.

VITEEE Counselling 2027 Process
The VITEEE counselling is conducted online separately for each phase. Only qualified candidates in VIT entrance exam 2027 can participate in the counselling. To credentials required for counselling are application number and password. During VITEEE counselling, candidates (as per the rank) had to register and pay a non-refundable fee of INR 5900 through netbanking/credit card/debit card.
VIT Rank and Phase-Wise Counselling 2027 is done in the following manner:
- Phase I - Rank 1 to 20000
- Phase II - Rank 20001 to 45000
- Phase III - Rank 45001 to 70000
- Phase IV - Rank 70001 to 1 Lakh
- Phase V - Rank 1 lakh above
NOTE: Students with 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh above rank are eligible for VIT AP and Bhopal campuses only. For students with 1.5 lakh above rank, only VIT AP campus is eligible.

VIT 2027 counselling registration and fee payment
This is the first stage of the counselling process. During this phase, candidates have to log in to their OTBS portal. Once logged in, the portal confirms which counselling phase along with schedule you are eligible with the rank you've secured in VIT 2027 exam. If you are satisfied with it, then proceed to pay the counselling registration fee.
VITEEE Choice-Filling and Locking
In this phase, students will be given two to three days to add their preferences. Candidates can add as many choices of campus, branch, and category from the availability. They can shuffle based on their preferences within the allowed timeline. Once the deadline is completed, the system locks the choices automatically. Candidates are advised to go through best VIT branches vs rank to understand their chances of getting allocated based on their scores.
VITEEE Seat Allotment Result
The seat allotment result of VIT counselling will be announced as per the schedule. Candidates can log in to the portal to view their allotment result. The allotment of seats will be done based on the choices submitted during counselling and VITEEE rank obtained. Once allotted campus/programme/fee category cannot be changed.
Downloading Allotment Letter and Fee Payment
After the declaration of allotment result, if a candidate is satisfied with their allocation, then they can download the allotment letter and procees to pay the advance fee/balance fees. The fee will be charged as per the VITEEE category for admission. Candidates have to pay the admission fee only if they confirm their allotment. Selected candidates will have to upload their higher secondary examination hall ticket to download VIT BTech provisional allotment letter after remittance of tuition fees. The advance fee payment in VITEEE is a partial amount that must be paid after seat allotment to confirm your admission. On the other hand, the balance fee is the remaining tuition fee for that academic year that finalises your enrolment.
VIT tuition fee is different for Group A and B courses. Fee will be according to programmes that students have to choose to study in institutes. For Group A programmes, total annual fee is INR 1,76,000, and for Group B, it is INR 1,98,000.
Documents Required for VITEEE Counselling 2027
Students who have been allocated a seat at VIT University must submit their original documents along with two sets of photocopies for verification. The documents must be submitted before final date. Students can check the list of documents required for VITEEE counselling. In addition, an affidavit signed separately by the student, parent and hostel on an INR 20 non-judicial stamp paper.
