A delegation of candidates recently met with BPSC officials to discuss their demands.

The delegation emphasized two key issues: extending the deadline for form submissions, as approximately 70,000 candidates faced server issues, and postponing the examination date by 25 days due to injuries sustained during a protest on Friday. After a two-hour meeting, officials assured students their concerns would be reviewed, though no immediate decisions were made.

BPSC Exam Date Stands Firm

Despite the ongoing protests, BPSC has confirmed that the preliminary examination will proceed as scheduled on December 13 in a "one shift, one paper" format. The commission released a statement asserting, β€œThere is no question of postponing the date.”

BPSC highlighted that over 4.8 lakh applications were received, with 1.3 lakh processed in the last four days before the deadline. Officials dismissed claims of server malfunctions as baseless, stating that the numbers demonstrate the system’s functionality.

BPSC Admit Cards Released

Admit cards for the 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination are now available on the official BPSC website. Candidates can download their hall tickets ahead of the exam, which will take place across multiple centers in Bihar.

Protests and Political Heat

Earlier, hundreds of candidates protested in front of the BPSC office, demanding normalization and clarity over the examination process. The situation escalated, prompting a police lathi charge that left several students injured. On Saturday, a delegation also met with Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha to press their demands further.
