The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will announce IBPS Clerk 2020 result for prelims exam tomorrow, i.e, December 31. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can check their result online from the official website. To check the result, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. The result will display the roll numbers of qualified candidates.

The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk was conducted on December 5, 12, and 13. The overall paper in terms of difficulty level was moderate. The scorecard will be released a few days after the declaration of the result. The scorecard will display the overall and section-wise scores as well as the cutoff marks.

  • Visit the official website
  • In the home page, candidates will find the result link
  • Enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password
  • The result appears on the screen
  • Download the result and take its printout

The scores of candidates will be calculated based on the normalisation process. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions are normalised. Scores upto two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. After normalization, final scores are rounded off up to two decimal digits. For each wrong answer, 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
