SSC JHT 2023 Notification Released for 307 Vacancies; Apply Online Here

SSC JHT 2023 application form has been released on August 22. The last date to fill the application form is September 12. A total of 307 vacancies have been announced for the exam. The Paper 1 exam of SSC JE will be conducted on October 26, 2023.

SSC JHT notification & application form released

Staff Selection Commission released SSC JHT Exam 2023 notification on August 22, 2023. The registration process SSC JHT started on August 22. The last date to fill the application form is September 12, 2023. Candidates can apply online through the official site of SSC at ssc.nic.in. A total of 307 vacancies have been announced for the exam. The Paper 1 exam of SSC JE will be conducted on October 26, 2023.

SSC JHT Vacancy Details

The vacancy break-up of SSC JHT exam is given below:

• Junior Hindi Translator: 21 posts
• Junior Translation Officer: 13 posts
• Junior Translator: 263 posts
• Senior Translator: 1 post
• Senior Hindi Translator: 9 posts

SSC JHT Selection Process

The selection process includes written examination- Paper I and Paper II. Paper I will comprise of objective type questions and Paper II will be descriptive type. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

SSC JHT Application Fees

The application fees is INR100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. Fee can be paid only through online payment modes such as BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.

How to fill SSC JHT Application Form?

SSC JHT application form can be filled in two parts-I and II. The process to fill both the parts is given below.

Part I: SSC JHT Registration

• For one-time registration, candidates need to click on ‘Register Now’ link on SSC website
• During the registration process, candidates need to enter: Basic Details, Additional Details and Contact Details and upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and LTI
• After submitting the basic details, candidates are required to confirm their mobile number and email ID
• On confirmation of details, the registration number and password will be provided to candidates
• Candidates need to read the declaration and click ‘I Agree’ button

Part 2: Online Application Form

• Login to online system through your registration number and password
• Click the apply link under the latest notifications tab
• Some fields will be filled automatically from one-time registration
• Candidates need to give their preferences for exam centers
• Enter educational qualification
• Complete your declaration by clicking on ‘I agree’ checkbox
• Preview and verify the details in the application form
• Candidates need to proceed to make fee payment
