UGC NET Answer Key 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) will release UGC NET December session provisional answer key on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Along with the provisional answer key, NTA will also upload the candidates' response sheets and question papers. Answer key challenge window will be made available for 2 to 3 days post-release. Candidates can submit objections against any question or answer by paying a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per question challenged.
The subject experts will verify the challenges submitted by candidates, and if found correct, the answer key will be revised. The UGC NET December Session Final Answer Key and results will be prepared and declared based on the verified key. How to Calculate UGC NET Score based on Answer Key?
The UGC NET provisional answer key released along with the questions and marked responses. Once released, candidates are advised to check all answers in the key carefully to have the correct estimation of the UGC NET score. For the same, candidates should go through the UGC NET exam pattern thoroughly. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned methods to calculate their scores correctly through the UGC NET answer key:
- Tally the marked responses with the official correct answers
- Add two marks for each correct answer in the exam
- Add zero marks for each incorrect answer in the exam

If candidates find any discrepancies, they can submit their objections by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET 2026 cutoff for the June session along with the declaration of the result at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. UGC NET/JRF Certificate for 2026
The authority will release the UGC NET certificate and JRF award Letter after the declaration of the UGC NET result. After every session, the Commission releases the UGC NET certificate for the qualified candidates to download it and use it for further admission process for Assistant Professor and JRF.
