VITEEE 2026 Application Form

VITEEE 2026 application form will be released online. No other mode will be used to release the VITEEE application form 2026. It is essential for all candidates to fill out and submit the form before the VITEEE 2026 application form last date. All of the provided details have to be correct. While filling out the VIT application form, the candidates will also have to select their preferred exam centres, in order of preference. The VITEEE 2026 application fee is INR 1350 (inclusive of GST) and has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
How to fill the VITEEE 2026 application form?
The given steps can be followed to fill out and submit the application form of VITEEE 2026.
- Go to viteee.vit.ac.in
- Click on the application form link.
- Candidates will have to register using their basic details. The login password will be generated and sent to the candidate's registered email address and mobile number.
- After logging in, the candidates will have to fill out their personal, academic and contact details. The exam cities also have to be selected in order of preference.
- Candidates will have to pay the application fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.
- Finally, the candidates will have to upload their scanned passport-size photograph and signature.
- Since no form correction facility will be provided, the candidates are advised to carefully check their details before submitting the application form.
VITEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The authorities will soon release the VITEEE eligibility criteria 2026 online. Before registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. If the candidates are unable to meet the required eligibility criteria, then they will not be considered for VIT admissions.
Nationality: The candidate should be a Resident/Non-Resident Indian National/PIO Holder.
Age Limit: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2004, will be eligible to apply for VITEEE 2026. The date of birth as recorded in the High School Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling, failing which, they will be disqualified.
Qualifying Examination: Candidates appearing for the VITEEE 2026 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2026, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:
- The final examination of the Class 12 system of the Higher Secondary Examination, i.e., conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), and the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE), New Delhi.
- Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised Board/ University.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
As per VIT Norms, Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE. They should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining. - Candidates who have studied Regular, Full Time and Formal education are eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination
- Candidates appearing for the VITEEE 2026 paper should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).
- The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) put together should be 50% for the following categories:
(a) Candidates belonging to the SC/ST Community
(b) Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
- The certificate to prove nativity should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
- In case the mark statement is not produced by the candidates at the time of admission, the decision of the Management regarding his/her eligibility and admission to the programme shall be final.
- For Indian nationals/ NRI/ PIO cardholders, appearance in VITEEE-2026 is mandatory to be eligible for BTech admission.
- In case VITEEE gets cancelled due to natural calamities, the qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks.
Subject Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the qualifying examination are eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree programmes.
- Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have attempted MPCEA in VITEEE will be eligible only for the following courses - BTech Biotechnology, BTech Computer Science and Engineering (Bioinformatics), BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering (Biomedical Engineering), BTech Health Sciences and Technology, BTech Bioengineering and BTech Computer Science and Engineering (Health Informatics)
- Even though the admission is done as per the VITEEE ranking, the candidate has to fulfil the eligibility norms mentioned.
