CAT Cutoff 2025 (Expected): Check CAT Cutoffs for IIMs and Top MBA Colleges

CAT cut offs remain high (99+ percentile) for top IIMs such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow and IIM Kozhikode, every year. For General/NC-OBC category students the CAT cutoff percentile for top IIMs is around 98-100 percentile; for SC/ST/PwD category candidates the cut offs are lower. For non-IIMs, the CAT cutoff is usually in the range of 94-100 percentile.

Now that the CAT 2025 answer key has been released, candidates can calculate their score and percentile. Basis, that they can shortlist MBA college, whose CAT cut offs match withe their scores. 

In Tier 2 MBA colleges, CAT cut offs are usually around 70-80 percentile and above and in Tier 3 MBA colleges the CAT cut offs are usually around 60-70 percentile and above. CAT 2024 cutoffs were in the same range for these colleges. CAT 2025 cut offs are expected to be in the same range. The institutes fix admission cut offs on the basis of overall perfomance of candidates in the CAT exam. The cut offs will be available after the declaration of CAT 2025 result.
