MAHA TET 2021 exam date is likely to get changed or postponed due to the COVID-19 and conduct of other exams on the same date including UPSC IAS and MPSC.

Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has released an official statement regarding the conduct of the MAHA TET 2021 examination. The statement says that the MAHA TET exam date 2021 is likely to be changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the conduct of other important exams on the same day such as UPSC IAS and MPSC.

The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on October 10, 2021 for Paper 1 and Paper 2. However, this date is likely to be postponed now. The new date, if any, will be announced soon.

Here is the official statement regarding the change in the MAHA TET 2021 exam date:

"शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा २०२१ परीक्षेचे आयोजन १०.१०.२०२१ रोजी करण्यात आलेले आहे. तथापि त्यामध्ये covid -१९ प्रादुर्भाव व अन्य (MPSC / UPSC ) परीक्षा आयोजन या कारणामुळे बदल होण्याची शक्यता आहे.”

MAHA TET Application 2021 closes on August 25

The MAHA TET application process is going to close tomorrow on August 25, 2021. Candidates who have yet not applied for the exam can submit their MAHATET application form 2021 now by following the steps mentioned below.

  • Visit the official website
  • Click on the registration link
  • Fill in all the required details and submit the registration form
  • Login to the registered account using registration ID and password
  • Fill the MAHA TET application form
  • Upload scanned pictures of photo and signature
  • Pay application fee
  • Submit and save the confirmation page

MAHA TET Application Fee 2021

The MAHA TET application fee varies for different categories. The fee is mentioned in the table below.

  • General – Rs 500 (Rs 800 for both papers)
  • SC/ ST/ PwD – Rs 250 (Rs 400 for both papers)

Candidates who successfully submit their applications and pay the application fee will be allowed to appear for the exam.
