
SEBI Grade A 2025 Exam: Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) released SEBI Grade A notification for 110 vacancies. The application form was available from October 30 to November 28.
The SEBI Grade A selection process is comprised of three phases. The Phase 1 is conducted online and comprises two papers. Candidates shortlisted in Phase 1 are called for Phase 2 exam. This stage is also conducted online and comprises two papers. Candidates qualifying Phase 2 are called for an interview. SEBI Grade A Result 2024
SEBI Grade A result is released online in PDF. The result PDF comprises the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The scorecard is released few days after the declaration of the result.
SEBI Grade A Admit Card
SEBI Grade A admit card is released separately for Phase 1, 2 and interview. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. Candidates are required to carry the printed copy of their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.
SEBI Grade A Selection Process
SEBI Grade A selection process comprises three stages-Phase 1 & 2 followed by Interview. The performance of candidates in the Phase 1 exam are not counted for the final merit list. The Phase 2 exam is conducted to select candidates for the interview.

SEBI Grade A Salary
The pay scale of officers in SEBI Grade A is INR 44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)-85850- 3300(1)-89150 (17 years). Presently, the gross emolument including SEBI’s Contribution towards National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, etc. in Mumbai is approx. INR 1,49,500 p.m. without accommodation and INR 1,11,000 p.m. with accommodation.
SEBI Grade A Cut off 2024
SEBI prescribes qualifying marks as well as cut off marks. In Phase 1 exam, candidates are required to secure the cut off of minimum 30 per cent for Paper 1 and 40 per cent in Paper 2 exam. There is no sectional cut off. In aggregate, candidates are required to secure the cut off marks of 40 per cent in Phase 1 exam. In Phase 2 exam, candidates are required to secure cut off of minimum 30 per cent in Paper 1 and cut off marks of minimum 40 per cent in Paper 2. In aggregate, candidates are required to secure the cut off marks of 50 per cent in Phase 2 exam (weightage of 1/3rd for Paper 1 and 2/3rd for Paper 2).

SEBI Grade A is an Assistant manager role and candidates work towards creating an environment where it is easy and fair to trade. Candidates will also audit and track individuals who are trading using unfair means. As a SEBI Grade A officer, candidates' job is similar to a data analyst or an entry-level auditor. Candidates are most probably be starting off with back-end office work and they will gradually progress to a position where they will have to deal with people a lot.
As an RBI recruit for the Grade B position, candidates will have a managerial role and they will have to execute policy decisions handed to them by the senior management. Hence candidates initially not be part of any policymaking or assist in the policy creation process until they reach Grade D.
SEBI Grade A officer is promoted to Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Chief General Manager, Executive Director, Whole Time Member, and Chairman. Promotions can be based on merit and performance.
