SSC CGL 2026 Dates: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the SSC CGL Notification 2026 on May 21 at ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL application form also released along with the notification. Candidates can fill out the SSC CGL application form until June 22. The last date to make fee payment is June 23. The Commission is expected to conduct the SSC CGL exam in August-September 2026 for Tier 1. The exam will be conducted online that is in a Computer-based test mode. The Tier 2 exam will be conducted in December 2026.
The exam date is an important because it also provide the information to other exam conducting bodies so that they can reserve those days as no exam days. No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
