CDS 2026: CDS 1 Exam Date, Pattern, Syllabus, Analysis, Answer Key & Prep Tips

CDS 2026: The authority is schedule to conduct the CDS 1 exam 2026 on April 12 at various centres across the country. Those candidates who have successfully filled the application form will be able to appear in the exam. The CDS 1 admit card will be released few days before the exam date on the official portal at upsc.gov.in. It is mandatory to carry hall ticket to the examination centre. Without it, candidate will not be allowed to appear in the exam. This is the time for preparation. Candidate should make proper strategy to clear the examination including frequent revision, practice questions, give mock test, etc. 

Further, the CDS 1 application process window was opened from Decembet 10 to 30. The application link was active along with the announcement of the CDS 1 notification. A total of 451 vacancies were released for the CDS 1 exam. The CDS 2 application will start on May 20, 2026 along with the announcement of the notification.
