CSIR NET June Exam Analysis 2025 (OUT): Subject-Wise Paper Difficulty Level, Memory-Based Questions & Answers

As per the students' responses, the Life Science paper was Moderate to Difficult in overall difficulty level, but some students 'felt it was Moderate and some difficult. A mixed response from the students was seen.

Number of Good attempts vary subject-wise but mainly range between 50 to 65 correct answers and depends upon accuracy.

The CSIR NET 2025 exam is ongoin in computer-based (online) mode with objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam duration is 3 hours and the total marks are 200. The question paper is divided into three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C. 

Candidates who want to qualify the CSIR NET 2025 exam need to score at least 33% in the General, EWS, and OBC categories, and 25% in the SC, ST, and PwD categories.

No, the CSIR NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) cut-off is different for different categories of candidates. The cut-off marks are usually released separately for General, OBC, SC, ST, and PwD categories.

• Candidates must carry a printed copy of CSIR NET admit card, one passport-size photograph (same as that on the application form), any one of the photo ID card (PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, aadhar card) and PwD certificate, if applicable

Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting etc. in the Examination Room/Hall is strictly prohibited.
